                   World Environmental Day was celebrated on Thursday, 5th June 2025 at Dr. Sivanthi Aditanar College of Education, Tiruchendur. The programme was presided over by the Chief Guest, Mr. D. Sivasubramanian.
World Environment Day is observed every year on June 5th to create awareness about the importance of protecting the environment and maintaining sustainability. It motivates people to take responsibility for preserving nature, reducing pollution, and addressing climate change.
As part of the celebration, various activities such as tree plantation, awareness programmes, and motivational speeches were conducted. These activities helped students understand the need to protect natural resources and adopt eco-friendly practices. The programme created a strong sense of responsibility towards the environment among the participants.
