                      REPUBLIC DAY Date: January 26, 2025  Day: Sunday Our college proudly celebrated India’s 76th Republic Day, honoring the sacrifices of freedom fighters and the vision of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar. The day featured flag hoisting, cultural spirit, and sweet distribution, inspiring unity and patriotism among all. “Happy Republic Day to all! Jai Hind!”

           PONGAL DAY CELEBRATION  Date: January 10, 2025 Day: Friday Chief Guest: Dr. M. Kannan,Aditanar College of Arts and Science, Tiruchendur Venue: Dr Sivanthi Aditanar College of Education,Tiruchendur               Our college celebrated Pongal, the Tamil harvest festival, with joy and cultural pride. Chief Guest Dr. M. Kannan delivered an inspiring speech, followed by a Rangoli competition where winners were awarded. The event reflected heritage, student creativity, and festive happiness.

  Economics is a science which studies human behavior as a relationship between ends and scarce means which have alternative uses.  Economics is the study of how people and society choose to use scarce resources to produce goods and services for consumption purposes. Economics is the social science that is concerned with the production, distribution and consumption of good and services. The term economics comes from the Ancient Greek – oikonomia, “management of household, administration” from oikos, “house” + nomos, “custom” or ‘law”, hence :rules of the house (hold)”. Economics deals with the study of various activities of man directed towards acquisition of wealth and earning of money.

NAAC is described as an autonomous institution established by the University Grants Commission (UGC) in 1994, headquartered in Bengaluru, Karnataka.          It is a NAAC third cycle for Dr.Sivanthi Aditanar College of Education, Tiruchendur and we are very proud of it.

The cultural programme featured performances that reflected patriotism, diversity, and unity, showcasing the holistic growth and inclusivity of our students. Well-coordinated and professional, the event left a positive impression on the assessors, reaffirming our institution’s commitment to excellence in academics and culture.

              NAAC PEER TEAM EXIT MEETING Date: January 03, 2025  Day: Friday Venue: Dr. Sivanthi Aditanar College of Education, Tiruchendur  The NAAC Peer Team Exit Meeting marked the final stage of the accreditation process. The team’s observations, insights, and feedback inspired our institution and guided us towards further excellence. We expressed gratitude for their time, suggestions, and the opportunity to present our strengths and vision.
