ANNUAL DAY CELEBRATION  Date. : January 13 2026 Venue: Senthil Murugan Government Girls' Higher secondary school Tiruchendur  The Annual Day Celebration was conducted in the school with great enthusiasm and grandeur. Students showcased their talents through cultural programmes such as dance, drama, and songs. Chief guest and dignitaries appreciated the students’ performances and encouraged them. Prizes were distributed to students for their academic and extracurricular achievements. The celebration created joyful memories and motivated students to excel in all fields.

PONGAL CELEBRATION Date: January 13,2026 Venue: Senthil Murugan Government Girls' Higher secondary school Tiruchendur  Pongal Celebration was conducted in the school with great joy and enthusiasm. Students and teachers participated by wearing traditional attire and decorating the campus beautifully. The significance of Pongal and Tamil culture was explained to the students. Traditional activities and cultural programmes were performed by the students. The celebration helped students understand the importance of gratitude, culture, and unity.

LAW AWARENESS PROGRAMME  Date: Jan 8,2026 Venue: Senthil Murugan Government Girls' Higher secondary school Tiruchendur  A Law Awareness Programme was conducted for school students with the guidance of the Thiruchendur Sub-Inspector of Police and a practising lawyer. The Sub-Inspector explained student safety, traffic rules, cyber safety, and the importance of obeying laws. The lawyer spoke about fundamental rights, child rights, and legal responsibilities. Students actively participated and clarified their doubts during the interaction session. The programme was informative and helped students understand the value of law and discipline in daily life.

HALF YEARLY EXAMINATION & HOLIDAY  DEC 10.12.25 - 23.12.25               HALF YEARLY EXAMINATION  Half yearly examination conducted on Dec 10 to 23,2025. All students are actively participated the examination. Dec( 24 -12 - 25 ) onwards announced halferly holidays for all schools.

MENTAL HEALTH AWARENESS TO SCHOOL                                 STUDENTS  Venue: Senthil Murugan Government Girls' Higher secondary school, Tiruchendur  Date.  : 05/12/2025           A mental awareness session was held in our school with a resource person from the Women Welfare Committee. She spoke about how parents' conflicts and mobile phone use can cause stress in students. She also taught simple yoga exercises to help reduce stress and stay calm. The session helped students understand the importance of mental health Everyone found the yoga and tips very useful .

       TRADITIONAL HERBS EXIBITION  Venue: Senthil Murugan Government Girls' Higher secondary school, Tiruchendur. Date  :21/11/2025               A traditional herbs exhibition was held in our school where students showcased different types of herbs. Each student explained the uses of the herbs to judges and viewers. The exhibition highlighted the importance and longevity of traditional herbs in the modern world. It helped everyone understand how these herbs are still useful today. The event celebrated the knowledge and value of traditional healing practices.
