LAST DAY OF SCHOOL INTERNSHIP  Date: January 21, 2026 The last day of the school internship marked the successful completion of the 80 Days Internship Programme. Trainee teachers shared their experiences and learning gained during the internship period. Teachers and students expressed their appreciation and support to the interns. The internship enhanced teaching skills, confidence, and professional responsibility. The programme concluded with gratitude, memories, and a sense of accomplishment.

ANNUAL DAY CELEBRATION  Date. : January 13 2026 Venue: Senthil Murugan Government Girls' Higher secondary school Tiruchendur  The Annual Day Celebration was conducted in the school with great enthusiasm and grandeur. Students showcased their talents through cultural programmes such as dance, drama, and songs. Chief guest and dignitaries appreciated the students’ performances and encouraged them. Prizes were distributed to students for their academic and extracurricular achievements. The celebration created joyful memories and motivated students to excel in all fields.

PONGAL CELEBRATION Date: January 13,2026 Venue: Senthil Murugan Government Girls' Higher secondary school Tiruchendur  Pongal Celebration was conducted in the school with great joy and enthusiasm. Students and teachers participated by wearing traditional attire and decorating the campus beautifully. The significance of Pongal and Tamil culture was explained to the students. Traditional activities and cultural programmes were performed by the students. The celebration helped students understand the importance of gratitude, culture, and unity.

LAW AWARENESS PROGRAMME  Date: Jan 8,2026 Venue: Senthil Murugan Government Girls' Higher secondary school Tiruchendur  A Law Awareness Programme was conducted for school students with the guidance of the Thiruchendur Sub-Inspector of Police and a practising lawyer. The Sub-Inspector explained student safety, traffic rules, cyber safety, and the importance of obeying laws. The lawyer spoke about fundamental rights, child rights, and legal responsibilities. Students actively participated and clarified their doubts during the interaction session. The programme was informative and helped students understand the value of law and discipline in daily life.
